Project Brief:
This project referenced the movie “The Five Obstructions”, Jørgen Leth & Lars von Trier, 2003. Initially working with four randomized limitations, then three new randomized limitations, and then no limitations, with the intention of exploring limitation, failure, and discovery.
The first four limitations assigned were the following: "Reference the book The American Way of Death by Jessica Mitford", "only use Google Image Search", "make it annoyed", "do it in one minute".
The second three limitations received were the following: "Make it abruptly", "Make it chartreuse", "Make it art school".
Initial works played with collages in Adobe Photoshop, with final pieces going into use of Adobe Premiere Pro and animation.
